Stock Exchange Schools Sharemarket Game sponsored by Salomon Smith Barney You might want to let other students know about this, as
it's a free Game where you buy and sell shares with a pretend $50,000 via the
Internet.
Students form teams of 2-4 and are given a password to enter the Game so
they can play the Game at school or at home - anywhere they can access the net.
The winner of the Game in
each State is the team that makes the most money out of their pretend $50,000
and there are some great cash prizes to be won. To register students, a teacher
is required to fill in the electronic registration at ASX's website

National Young Leaders’ Day
The National Young Leaders’ Days are annual
events held in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth to develop
student leadership in schools and build a better future for Australian young
people. The National Young Leaders’ Days are both inspirational
and practical, with the aim to inspire, motivate and empower students, as
well as connect them with other students to develop long term support networks.
The Young Leaders Foundation selects a group of high profile personalities from
business, sport, politics, community service, science and the arts, to speak and
interact with the students.
