HSC ECONOMICS ‘BOOT CAMP’ LECTURE DAY FOR HSC STUDENTS (2023).

During the September holidays, Ian Moore will be conducting a 'boot camp' examination-focused Zoom lecture day for -

HSC Economics – Saturday the 23rd September

This program will focus on strategies to move students up a band or even two.

Cost - $50 per student.

Lecture 1 (One Hour)  What to and how to study in the two weeks before the HSC

                                                Exploring contemporary statistics  

Lecture 2  (One Hour)             Effective strategies to use during the examination

Allocating time effectively in the Economics exam

Dissecting Economics examination questions

Lecture 3 (One Hour)              Tactics for planning out the key Economics extended response questions,  including –

                                                ‘Evaluate the effectiveness of monetary policy.’

                                                ‘Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies to lower inflation.’

Lecture 4  (One Hour)             Using memory aids to remember the key Economics syllabus points in the HSC exam

Lecture 5 (One Hour)              Strategies for maximising your Short Answer & multiple choice  HSC marks

 

LECTURE DAY FOR THE NEW HSC 2024 STUDENTS - ‘GET READY GO’ LECTURES FOR ECONOMICS STUDENTS 

For students who are entering Year 12, in Term 4, and will sit the HSC in 2023

  • HSC Economics - Sunday the 12th November 2023

 Cost - $50 per student.

 

These motivational workshops will empower students to-

      • Learn an ‘ATAR focused’ system developed over twenty years of teaching,
      • Learn how to create HSC ‘exam units of work’ rather than producing meaningless summaries,
      • Plan out Extended Response Answers and Business Reports,
      • Learn how to summarise effectively, using the ‘Super Summary Approach’,
      • To be motivated in Year 12,
      • Apply memory aids to the key syllabus points and,
      • Allocate time effectively in exams and assessment tasks.

  6. $500 for the day (Additional cost for regional schools to cover travel & accommodation expenses)
